Spend a few hours exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway, located just east of Buena Vista; picnic in Glen Maury Park; or visit Natural Bridge. The outdoors enthusiast will want to hunt our Forests whether for game or photograph; fish and canoe our rivers and streams; and hike the Appalachian Trail. If you are a horse lover, be sure to visit the Virginia Horse Center. This world class facility hosts competitions on state, national, and international levels.

If golf is your game, grab your clubs and head to The Vista Links, an 18-hole, Par-72 Public Golf Course located in Buena Vista. This Rick Jacobson designed course has 5-sets of tees, a deluxe driving range, and Pro-Shop for all your golfing needs.

A true college town, our culture is greatly enhanced by Washington & Lee, Virginia Military Institute, and Southern Virginia University. All three provide concerts, plays, art exhibits, and world renown speakers.

Interstates 64 and 81 intersect just north of the Lexington City limits and Routes 11 and 60 bisect Rockbridge County providing an excellent location for industry.
